9th annual Turkey Bowl Week 
"Its More than a Game" 

The Turkey Bowl week is a community event that has a rich history and dates all the way back to 1959 started this is West Monroe, Louisiana by  Founders family playing their neighborhood vs another neighborhood. The Turkey bowl was then relocated to Seattle, WA in 1977 where it then became a game between The Sampsons & The Mannings families every year.  Donation were collected such as can goods and nonperishable to donate to  Northwest Harvest. In 2015 the Founder had it on his heart to bring this epic community event back . This year  goal is to serve a total of 1000 Turkey Sandwich Lunches & Hygiene Warming Kits while also providing a dinner that will serve over 150 community members and we will need your support in doing so. Our mission is to teach our youth and young adults what it looks like to serve someone other than themselves. I truly appreciate and thank you in advance for your support and contributions to this cause an example of what that looks like is to take on a number of Turkey Sandwich Lunches to prepare which includes 2 sandwiches, mayo/mustard packets and a bag of chips, and water.  It also looks like preparing a number of Hygiene & Warming Kits that consist of Hat, Gloves, Socks, with Hygiene items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, bodywash & shampoo.
